iOS 4.3 brought many new features such as personal hotspot support and a new super-fast JavaScript engine just to name a few. However, many users on Apple’s support forums including myself reported a noticeably shorter battery life on their devices.
According to BGR, the upcoming iOS update –iOS 4.3.1 – may help users affected by the battery life issue.
Battery life seems a tad bit better, though that’s not scientific at all
I need to charge twice per day since updating to 4.3 and other users are reporting needing to charge multiple times per day. Some users are even restoring their phones to the previous iOS 4.2.1 to correct the problem.
